Emmalee stepped into her role as Operations Manager in January 2023, and since then, has been working tirelessly on the Library's functionality in the background. With her sharp mind and a keen eye for detail, Emmalee ensures that every logistical query related to the Library finds answers by working with other members of the team. She excels in implementing systems and processes to help with the overall efficiency of the Library.

What sets Emmalee apart is her extraordinary ability to manage her responsibilities even while traversing the globe. Her unique situation allows her to travel between Bali, New Zealand, and the UK, proving that dedication and determination know no borders. Despite the distances that separate these three enchanting destinations, Emmalee has effortlessly managed to strike a perfect balance in her life and work.

The connection between Emmalee and Ascension Library traces back to her introduction to Judy's work when she began dating Rich, Judy's son, back in 2020. This serendipitous meeting of hearts set the stage for a beautiful love story. Now, with Rich and Emmalee engaged to be married in New Zealand in January 2024, their story is so beautiful, heartwarming, and just getting started. 

Before her venture at the Ascension Library, Emmalee's professional journey revolved around the art of hairdressing. With an impressive 23-year career, she honed her skills as a hairdresser, working in renowned salons across the globe, leaving a trail of satisfied customers and a legacy of excellence. Emmalee stepped into the role of an educator and business development professional in the hair industry, nurturing and guiding salons and future stylists in New Zealand and the UK. Her talents took center stage running and hosting workshops and events in and around New Zealand as she contributed to the creation of captivating looks that captured the essence of style. 

Despite her flourishing career in hairdressing, Emmalee's desire for personal growth and a deeper connection with people led her toward the realm of wellness. Seven years ago, she embraced yoga wholeheartedly, completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training. This life-altering decision opened doors to new opportunities, taking her on journeys across the world – from New Zealand and Australia to Bali and the UK – to teach yoga and organize transformative retreats. Through her yoga practice, Emmalee not only nurtures physical well-being but also touches the lives of others, inspiring them to embark on their paths of self-discovery.
